Job summary

Orion Placement is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead complex commercial drywall, metal framing, and ACT estimates for sophisticated projects. You will review plans and documents, craft competitive pricing, and guide the team toward profitable wins while building strong client relationships.

You will mentor junior estimators, participate in preconstruction and bid reviews, and help shape estimating processes and best practices.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of commercial drywall experience.
• 3+ years of metal framing and ACT/acoustical ceiling estimating experience.
• Ability to review plans, specifications, scopes, and contract documents.
• Experience preparing and leading complex commercial estimates and proposals.
• Understanding of bid strategy, risk assessment, value engineering, and project turnover.
• Strong communication, organization, and client relationship skills.
• Ability to mentor team members and contribute to estimating process improvements.
• Existing relationships with general contractors or customers and a track record of supporting new business growth are strongly preferred.

Job description

• Take the lead on complex commercial drywall, metal framing, and acoustical ceiling estimates with direct impact on company growth.
• Join a performance-driven team where accurate estimating, profitable wins, and strong client relationships are recognized and rewarded.
• Earn quarterly performance bonuses tied to results, with bonuses historically averaging approximately $40K annually.
• Influence estimating strategy, processes, pricing, risk management, and preconstruction best practices.
• Mentor other estimators while growing your own leadership experience.
• Build toward advancement opportunities including Chief Estimator, Preconstruction Manager, Operations Manager, and executive leadership.
• Work across a diverse mix of sophisticated commercial projects where strong estimating expertise truly matters.

Location: Bremen, GA. This position is based in Bremen and includes in-person interviews. The employer has not formally specified whether the ongoing work arrangement is on-site or hybrid.
