Job summary

Vortex Doors, America’s highest quality and most customer-centric door service company, is seeking an Experienced Commercial Door Technician to join our team in the field. You will install, repair, and maintain a variety of commercial doors, docks, and related hardware at customer sites across our service area.

We value hands-on problem solving, strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ experience in the commercial door service industry.
• Physically able to lift 50 lbs. and work on ladders up to 20 ft.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• AAADM certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair doors, docks, and related hardware.
• Diagnose and repair door issues such as springs, hinges, locks, and electrical components.
• Install and configure door hardware and access control systems.
• Provide excellent customer service and keep accurate service records.
• Perform quality checks to ensure safety and compliance.
