Job summary

Nestlé Purina in the United States seeks a Senior Commercial Data Scientist to apply data science, ML, and AI to marketing and commercial challenges. You’ll turn business questions into analytical solutions, partnering with marketing, brand, sales, and ecommerce teams to drive measurable outcomes.

You will operate within AIOps/MLOps practices, develop predictive models, explore Generative AI opportunities, and contribute to reusable analytics frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Marketing Analytics, Applied Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience translating ambiguous business problems into analytical approaches and communicating findings to stakeholders.
• 5+ years applying data science, analytics, or ML to marketing, consumer, e-commerce, or sales problems.
• Master's or PhD in Data Science, Applied Statistics, Marketing Analytics, Economics, CS, or related field preferred.
• Experience operationalizing AI solutions through AIOps/MLOps frameworks and governance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a hands-on data science consultant to brand, marketing, sales, and category teams, translating commercial priorities into data science solutions.
• Design, develop, validate, and implement predictive modeling and ML solutions for marketing and commercial challenges.
• Explore Generative AI capabilities for commercial opportunities and collaborate with technical experts when needed.
• Work within AIOps/MLOps practices to move solutions from experimentation to production and governance.
• Contribute to reusable analytics frameworks, tools, and best practices.
• Share knowledge with other data scientists and stay current on AI approaches relevant to marketing applications.
