Job summary

Nestlé Purina is seeking a Senior Commercial Data Scientist to apply data science, ML, and AI to real-world marketing and commercial challenges. You will partner with marketing, brand, and sales teams to turn business questions into analytical solutions and measurable outcomes.

You will design models, explore Generative AI, and operate within ML/Ops governance to scale successful solutions across go-to-market initiatives. A strong consumer analytics mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Marketing Analytics, Applied Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience translating ambiguous business problems into analytical approaches and communicating findings to business stakeholders.
• 5+ years applying data science, advanced analytics, or machine learning to marketing, consumer, commercial, e-commerce, sales, or related customer-facing problems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a hands-on data science consultant to brand, marketing, sales, and category teams, translating commercial priorities into data science and AI solutions.
• Design, develop, validate, and implement statistical, predictive modeling, machine learning, and AI solutions for commercial and marketing problems.
• Explore and apply Generative AI capabilities to commercial opportunities in collaboration with other technical experts.
• Work within AIOps/MLOps, monitoring, and model-governance practices to move solutions into production.
• Share knowledge with other data scientists and stay current on AI and analytics approaches relevant to commercial applications.
