Job summary

Hyundai Capital America (HCA) is seeking a Sr. Commercial Credit Analyst to operate as a self-contained credit unit within the Commercial Credit & Operations Department.

You will review financing proposals, analyze credit, collateral, and economics, and collaborate with Sales and dealers to resolve issues. The role requires 4–6 years of auto finance credit analysis, a business-related degree, and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of automotive finance credit analysis experience.
• Knowledge of financial statements preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
• Ability to develop credit and financial skills in an analytically challenging environment.
• Solid time management and prioritization skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to multitask.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of subject matter expertise in all areas supported.
• Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Review incoming credit requests for completeness and partner with Sales and dealers to resolve deficiencies and financial statement questions.
• Ensure financial statements and adjustments are accurately reported in Crowe Navigator and complete quality underwriting packages within established time frames.
• Provide Legal with accurate information for document preparation and review term sheets and loan documents for accuracy and proper execution.
• Oversee the funding process for new flooring lines and loans, ensuring they are accurately established in all required systems.
• Assist the Commercial Portfolio Team with annual reviews, monthly dealer reviews, financial statement entry, audit issues, and insurance follow-up.
• Contribute to Commercial Credit initiatives and process improvements.
