Job summary

Republic Bank of Chicago seeks a Commercial Credit Analyst to underwrite and evaluate commercial real estate and C&I loan requests. You will collaborate with the Commercial Lender or Team Leader on due diligence for middle market clients.

The role involves preparing detailed financial analyses, including cash flow models and collateral evaluations, to identify credit risks and support sound lending decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, preferably Accounting or Finance.
• Strong analytical and qualitative analysis skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• MS Word, Excel and Outlook proficiency.
• Strong organizational skills and internet literacy.
• Experience with Sageworks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quality, detailed financial analysis including cash flow models and collateral evaluations to identify credit risks.
• Evaluate complex financial statements to support credit reviews.
• Make recommendations consistent with banking practices to minimize risk.
• Ensure loan requests adhere to bank policies and procedures.
• Communicate with Commercial Lender or Team Leader to monitor loan portfolios.
