Job summary

Beacon Hill Solutions Group, LLC in Augusta, Maine, United States is seeking an experienced Commercial Attorney (Technology Transactions) for a short-term contract assignment to support an in-house legal team. The role involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements and collaborating with internal business stakeholders.

Responsibilities include negotiating MSAs, SOWs, vendor agreements, PSAs, and partnerships while addressing data privacy, cybersecurity, and AI-related risks.

Qualifications

• J.D. and active U.S. bar license.
• 3+ years of legal experience.
• Prior in-house experience strongly preferred.
• Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements.
• Experience supporting technology, professional services, SaaS, or similar business environments preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and business partnering skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate MSAs, SOWs, Vendor Agreements, PSAs, and Partnership/Alliance Agreements.
• Partner with sales, procurement, finance, and business teams to support commercial transactions.
• Identify and address contractual risks related to data privacy, cybersecurity, and AI-related matters.
• Provide practical, business-focused legal advice to help move deals forward.
• Support contract negotiations from initial review through execution.
