Qualifications

• J.D. from ABA-accredited law school.
• 5+ years of legal experience with significant commercial contracting.
• Active California Bar membership (or ability to register as California in-house counsel).
• Experience supporting development, construction, land use, energy, utilities, or commercial real estate matters.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts supporting site development, construction, and business operations.
• Manage a variety of commercial agreements, including vendor, supply, technology, marketing, and confidentiality.
• Maintain contract templates, playbooks, and tracking processes for key obligations and renewals.
• Advise internal stakeholders on legal and business risks, escalating complex issues as needed.
• Support a broad range of legal matters, including real estate, compliance, governance, privacy, and employment.
