WEX is seeking a Commercial Legal Director for Mobility & Payments in the Americas. Lead strategic legal counsel, draft complex commercial agreements, and guide product lifecycle, partnerships, and RFP responses.

Manage a team and collaborate with finance, operations, compliance, and product to drive growth while mitigating risk. The role emphasizes hands-on drafting, negotiation, and leadership to support WEX’s Mobility lines of business, with a focus on reducing risk and enabling scalable

Qualifications

• J.D. required.
• 10+ years of legal experience, ideally in-house.
• Experience in payments and/or financial services industries and related laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements for mobility and payments.
• Provide strategic legal counsel to Mobility executives and cross-functional teams.
• Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of legal professionals and coordinate with outside counsel.
