The role requires a law degree and admission to practice, with 5+ years in a large organization or top law firm. Strong communication, collaboration and business acumen are essential in this fast-paced, global healthcare company.

Qualifications

• Requires a Juris Doctor with a strong academic record.
• Licensed to practice law in the applicable jurisdiction.
• Commercial/transactional experience required; healthcare law knowledge preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive legal advice on commercial transactions and risk mitigation across the enterprise.
• Draft and negotiate commercial contracts with internal clients and external parties.
• Manage high-volume, fast-paced workload and coordinate with Litigation, Privacy, Regulatory Counsel, and Compliance teams.
• Identify legal and compliance issues and elevate risks appropriately.
• Advise business leaders on terms and implications of external agreements and strategic decisions.
• Stay current on regulations and best practices to support business strategy.
