Qualifications

• JD/LLB from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in at least one US state or a Canadian province.
• 6–10 years of experience handling complex commercial contracts.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, interpret, and negotiate US/Canada contracts to mitigate risk.
• Lead negotiations with customers, suppliers and third parties.
• Maintain standard form contracts and update provisions as needed.
• Advise on regulatory developments and compliance with policies.
• Support leadership and sales teams on contract disputes and settlements.
• Ensure timely and relevant contract templates.
• Provide training on contract practices and negotiation strategies.
• Collaborate with legal and multidisciplinary teams to improve processes.

Education

Juris Doctor (JD) or Bachelor of Laws (LLB/BCL)

Licensed to practice law (US state or Canadian province)

6–10 years of relevant legal experience

Bilingual English/French communication
