Job summary

Leonardo DRS, Inc. in Dallas, TX seeks a contracts professional to support the Uncooled OEM commercial business, including drone opportunities. This hybrid role involves order entry, quote preparation, NDA/export compliance, and close collaboration with product management and engineering.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years in government contracts, strong negotiation skills, and detailed knowledge of FAR/DFARS. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain DOD clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field with seven or more years of progressive experience in government contracts.
• Detailed knowledge of government contract administration duties including subcontract flow downs, change management, inspection, acceptance, payment, warranty, close-out and records retention.
• Experience in the management of government contracts and familiarity with IP/data rights clauses.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary inside-sales point of contact for inbound commercial customer interest related to the Uncooled OEM Camera product line.
• Perform order entry activities for sample orders and customer purchase orders, ensuring order accuracy and required internal approvals.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding product availability, lead times, pricing, sample requests, and general product information.
• Support the sales team in qualifying opportunities by gathering customer application details, volume expectations, timing, and end-use information.
• Prepare and route Quotes for approval in alignment with business development and product management.
• Maintain accurate records of opportunities, quotes, and customer communications in Salesforce.
