Job summary

Actalent is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead field operations on complex commercial projects in Minneapolis, MN. You will drive safe, efficient site performance from groundbreaking to closeout, coordinating subcontractors and field personnel to meet schedule and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in a superintendent role with a commercial GC, deep understanding of construction methods, and proficiency with Procore or Bluebeam.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of superintendent or field leadership experience with a commercial general contractor.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction documents including plans and specifications.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and managing field teams.
• Solid knowledge of jobsite safety standards and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily onsite construction activities safely and efficiently.
• Coordinate subcontractors to maintain schedule and quality.
• Maintain project documentation including daily reports and safety logs.
• Conduct site inspections for code compliance and safety.
• Collaborate with project managers on scheduling and procurement.
• Lead onsite safety initiatives and promote a safety culture.
• Support client and design teams with project updates and transparency.
• Manage project closeout activities.
