Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma; bachelor’s preferred.
• 10+ years of experience as a commercial construction superintendent.
• Excellent communication skills.
• First Aid/CPR certification required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must complete 30h OSHA training.
• Proficiency with MS Word and Excel.
• Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings.
• Experience coordinating with owners, subcontractors and inspectors.
• Drug and alcohol pre-access testing required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preconstruction activities: scope development, scheduling and estimating.
• Plan and orchestrate construction from start to finish with accurate scheduling.
• Interpret drawings, details and specifications.
• Direct teams and subcontractors to achieve project objectives.
• Track job progress and costs with senior management.
• Submit daily reports and safety inspections; file required documentation.
• Coordinate meetings with owners, subcontractors, architects and officials.
• Manage punch lists and ensure timely completion.
• Identify potential sales opportunities and communicate with leadership.
• Maintain professional conduct and positive workplace relations.
• Provide general estimates for materials.
