Job summary

TEEL Construction, Inc. is seeking a driven Project Manager to join our team in Fairfax, VA. The role focuses on owning projects, coordinating with owners, subcontractors, and suppliers, and ensuring safety, quality, and profitability on commercial construction ventures.

You will manage contracts, budgets, schedules, and change orders while maintaining strong client relationships and delivering projects with minimal punch lists.

Qualifications

• Requires 12th grade with at least 10 years of construction experience, or a four-year degree in engineering, construction management, or business with 5+ years in construction and leadership.
• Oversees contract compliance, budget control, and coordination with Owner, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Reads and ensures compliance with contracts and acts as the company’s authority on contracts.
• Attends Owner meetings and leads discussions to clarify major issues.
• Reviews subcontractor pay requisitions and ensures timely execution of subcontracts.
• Manages permits, bonds, and insurance and oversees payables and change orders.
• Maintains project schedules with the Superintendent and recovers any schedule delays.
• Maintains quality and safety standards and ensures customer satisfaction and long-term relationships.
