Job summary

Greenwald & B.C. Inc. in Mount Pleasant, MI is seeking a Senior Commercial Construction Project Manager to lead projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will drive schedules, budgets, and client communications to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The role requires strong financial acumen, decisive leadership, and the ability to coordinate field and office teams while maintaining quality and safety standards. Travel as needed and a valid driver's license are expected.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of commercial construction project management experience.
• Independently manage projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling and budgeting.
• Experience managing project financials, job costing, forecasts and change orders.
• Experience leading subcontractors and coordinating field and office personnel.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills with multiple projects and priorities.
• Proficiency with construction PM software and standard business tech.
• Valid driver's license and travel to project sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through final closeout.
• Establish and manage schedules, budgets, milestones, and cost forecasts.
• Monitor job costs, labor expenses, profitability, and costs to complete.
• Make informed project-level decisions and identify risks early.
• Evaluate change orders and coordinate with the field team.
• Lead client conversations about changes, costs, and schedules.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, superintendents, project engineers, and partners.
• Review drawings, specs, contracts, RFIs, submittals, and procurement.
• Collaborate with leadership on financial reviews and invoicing.
• Maintain project records and ensure quality and safety standards.
• Lead project closeout, including punch lists and final reconciliation.
