Job summary

Pro Commercial in Huxley, IA, seeks an experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager to lead projects from preconstruction to closeout. You will manage scope, budget, schedule, and subcontractors, coordinating with ownership-level leadership and field teams to drive project success.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in commercial PM, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to read plans and specs. Travel for key milestones is required; a valid driver’s license is necessary.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in commercial construction project management (5+ years preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specs.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• High school diploma or GED; construction management degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project delivery including scheduling, budgeting, and field coordination.
• Lead project meetings and communicate clearly with field staff and stakeholders.
• Guide and delegate tasks to Project Engineers and Coordinators.
• Ensure compliance with project specs, blueprints, and client requirements.
• Build relationships with clients by managing expectations and addressing issues proactively.
• Complete company and owner documentation thoroughly and on time.
• Support bid generation, procurement, and subcontractor coordination.
• Travel occasionally for jobsite walks and milestones.
