Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of commercial construction estimating experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, materials, and systems.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specs, and technical docs.
• Proficiency with estimating tools (On-Screen Takeoff, Bluebeam) and MS Office.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare conceptual and detailed cost estimates across multiple disciplines.
• Perform quantity takeoffs, cost modeling, and scope analysis.
• Review drawings and specifications to identify scope, risks, and cost drivers.
• Manage subcontractor outreach, bid packages, and evaluations.
• Collaborate with design teams to resolve issues and support value engineering.
• Assist with bid strategy, schedules, and final proposal development.
• Track market pricing trends and maintain historical cost data.
• Support project handoff with clear assumptions, documentation, and cost insights.
