Job summary

Farmers National Banc Corp. in Alabama is seeking a Commercial Banking Credit Analyst to support relationship managers and senior credit officers through the loan lifecycle, from application to closing and post-closing administration.

You will analyze financial statements, monitor credit quality, and participate in the loan approval process, while developing referrals and fee income opportunities across bank lines of business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from a four-year college or university.
• Minimum of five years of credit analysis and/or loan review experience.
• Strong ability to read financial statements and assess repayment capacity.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook; good research skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication; team player.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite, monitor, and manage commercial banking relationships.
• Analyze financial data to evaluate loan requests and structure credits.
• Assist with due diligence and opportunity memos for new clients.
• Maintain compliance with BSA/AML and training.
• Co-manage portfolios and monitor credit risk and delinquencies.
• Partner with Relationship Manager and Credit Department.
• Assist in loan document preparation and cross-sell opportunities.
• Engage in community events to promote the bank.
