Simmons Bank seeks an experienced Commercial Banker to acquire, grow, and retain large, complex commercial relationships. You will cross-sell treasury management, wealth, and other lines as part of a client-focused growth plan.

You will evaluate credit, structure deals, and present to loan committees, driving profitability while managing risk and portfolio quality across the bank's commercial relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, related field, or relevant job experience is preferred.
• Experience in the local market for lending context is preferred.
• Sr. Commercial Banker: 5+ years in commercial banking with complex lending experience.

Responsabilités

• Strategically focus on large, complex commercial client activity and act as trusted advisor.
• Negotiate terms for large commercial credit including cost, risk, and profitability.
• Review complex financial information to assess borrower creditworthiness.
• Present recommendations to loan committee and demonstrate credit understanding.
• Ensure profitability of all commercial relationships within the portfolio.
• Oversee portfolio management including borrowing base and construction draws.
• Monitor loan repayments and past due accounts; address deficiencies.
• Cross-sell other bank products to deepen relationships.
• Engage with community organizations to support bank reputation.
