Simmons Bank seeks a Commercial Banker II to grow and retain large, complex commercial relationships, focusing on CRE or C&I. The role requires strong credit analysis, strategic relationship management, and cross-selling across treasury, employee benefits, and wealth services.

Expect responsibilities spanning loan structuring, credit risk assessment, and portfolio profitability, with a goal of expanding net new loans and deposits while maintaining asset quality. Local market experience preferred.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field preferred.
• Four to six years minimum experience in a commercial banking function with significant experience in complex lending preferred.
• Highly developed sales skills required.
• Experience in the local market preferred for better understanding of the lending environment and potential customer base.

Responsabilidades

• Strategic focus on large, more complex commercial client activity through relational selling as a trusted advisor.
• Establishes and negotiates terms for large commercial credit including cost, risk, and profitability.
• Reviews and analyzes complex financial information to determine borrower creditworthiness and presents recommendations to loan committee.
• Responsible for profitability of all commercial relationships within the portfolio.
• Portfolio management responsibilities including borrowing base and construction draw processes.
• Monitor loan repayments and past due accounts and credit/collateral deficiencies.
• Cross-sell other bank products to build deep banking relationships.
• Engage in community activities to advance the Bank’s reputation.
• Meet individual goals and contribute to a team-oriented environment.
• Ensure all documents comply with laws and loan policies and undergo audits.
