Job summary

First National Bank in Baltimore seeks a Commercial Banker 2 to develop new and existing commercial loan relationships, administer a portfolio of loans, assess credit worthiness, monitor performance and support profit and growth objectives.

You will prepare loan documentation, present to committees when required, promote the bank in the community and provide high quality service while complying with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• BA or BS required.
• 7 years minimum experience in lending banking or customer-focused roles.
• Strong communication, organizational and analytical skills.
• Experience using MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint at an intermediate level.

Responsibilities

• Develops new and existing commercial loan relationships by calling on customers to cross-sell banking products.
• Administers a portfolio of commercial loans meeting credit quality, profitability and growth targets.
• Determines credit worthiness by analyzing financial condition and collateral.
• Monitors loan performance and respects regulatory requirements.
• Prepares loan documents for presentation and contributes to loan committee discussions.
• Promotes the bank's image through community involvement.
