Job summary

TRISTAR RISK ENTERPRISE MANAGEMENT in Philadelphia, PA, seeks an experienced Claims Examiner for commercial auto casualty claims. Responsibilities include reviewing policy information, endorsements and vehicle schedules to determine coverage and liability; conducting claim examinations and investigations toward final resolution.

Requires an active Delaware adjuster license and 5+ years of related experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 5+ years commercial auto casualty related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of claims handling concepts, practices and techniques including coverage issues.
• Demonstrated verbal and written communications skills.
• Advanced analytical, decision making and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Review, process and conclude assigned claims including investigation and evaluation of complex Commercial Auto property and casualty claims.
• Oversee outside investigative services and coordinate with client and counsel to advance claims to conclusion.
• Maintain ongoing diary and assess exposure for accurate reserves and settlements.
• Prepare loss reports with analysis of liability and damages.
