Job summary

S&S Activewear is seeking a Senior Commercial Analyst to own business intelligence and analytics across material commercial segments. You will transform complex questions into scalable data products and actionable recommendations that improve revenue, margin, and forecast quality.

This role partners with Sales, Commercial Strategy and Planning, FP&A, Data Science, and enterprise data teams, driving adoption of insights and leading cross-functional workstreams with limited guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• Demonstrated success owning complex commercial BI and analytics solutions that influenced decisions and delivered measurable outcomes.
• Advanced Power BI expertise including semantic modeling, DAX, Power Query, visualization design, security, deployment, refresh management, and performance tuning.
• Advanced SQL skills and hands-on experience building, validating, and maintaining analytical data models; Snowflake experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, data lineage, governance, and quality controls.
• Experience applying forecasting, scenario analysis, experimentation, segmentation, or statistical methods to commercial questions.
• Strong financial and commercial acumen connecting operational drivers to revenue, margin, and P&L outcomes.
• Proven ability to influence director-level stakeholders and lead cross-functional workstreams.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and data-storytelling skills for technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end BI and analytics roadmap for an assigned commercial segment and deliver measurable outcomes.
• Frame business problems, define analytical approaches, and present clear options to senior leaders.
• Design, build, and maintain Power BI solutions with robust data models and governance.
• Develop reusable SQL data models integrating CRM, ERP, Snowflake, financial, and external data.
• Establish KPI definitions, data quality thresholds, and documentation for reliable decision-making.
• Apply forecasting, scenario modeling, segmentation, experimentation to diagnose performance drivers.
• Translate commercial performance into P&L and revenue/margin impacts to guide prioritization.
• Automate recurring reporting to improve speed, accuracy, and adoption.
