Job summary

Wheeler & Taylor Insurance seeks an experienced Senior Commercial Account Manager to join our Remote Commercial Lines team in the Boston area. You will manage and service a book of commercial accounts, renewals, and submissions, acting as the primary client contact and coordinating with carriers to optimize coverage.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in Commercial Lines, a Property & Casualty license, strong communication skills, and proficiency with agency management systems and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of Commercial Lines Account Management experience.
• Active Property & Casualty license or ability to obtain state licenses.
• Strong knowledge of commercial insurance coverages across industries.
• Excellent communication, organization, and client relationship skills.
• Experience with agency management systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage and service an assigned book of commercial insurance accounts from renewal through ongoing account management.
• Develop relationships with clients and serve as their primary service contact.
• Prepare renewals, marketing submissions, proposals, policy changes, endorsements, certificates, and other servicing needs.
• Coordinate with carriers and underwriters to negotiate coverage options and resolve complex issues.
• Review policies for accuracy and identify gaps or opportunities to better protect clients.
• Support Producers during renewal and assist with new business opportunities.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities and collaborate with internal specialists.
• Maintain accurate client documentation in the agency management system.
• Assist with claims, billing questions, and policy interpretation as needed.
• Stay current on commercial insurance products and industry trends.
• Mentor junior service team members when appropriate.
