Job summary

Upgrade is a fintech company focused on providing affordable and responsible credit to everyday consumers. The Senior Collections Strategy Analyst will own analytics and strategy across post-charge-off and pre-charge-off recovery operations, building reporting infrastructure and cross-functional partnerships.

You will manage third-party agencies, dialer strategy, DSC relationships, and hardship programs, translating analysis into implemented strategy in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years in analytics/strategy role.
• Experience with collections operations such as dialer strategy, agency management, debt sale, DSC/settlement programs, or hardship programs.
• Advanced SQL and ability to query large datasets independently.
• Experience building dashboards and reporting in Tableau, plus Excel/Google Sheets.
• Track record designing and analyzing test-and-learn experiments (A/B tests).

Responsibilities

• Build analytics framework for the recovery program spanning debt sale, third-party outsourcing, and DSC settlements.
• Design, test, and maintain dialer strategy for pre-charge-off accounts.
• Structure dialer experiments and optimize strategy based on results.
• Build quarterly business review decks for third-party agencies with KPIs.
• Own digital communication strategy across email, SMS, and AI voice channels.
• Analyze settlement performance with debt settlement companies.
• Evaluate hardship program design and outcomes to improve borrower results.
• Perform portfolio analytics to answer leadership questions.
• Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, Legal, Operations and Product.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
