Job summary

CCFBank in Hudson, WI seeks a Senior Collections Specialist to minimize losses and support customers through financial challenges. You will mentor team members and collaborate with the AVP of Mortgage Processing & Special Assets to manage delinquent and charged-off accounts.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has experience with loss mitigation, recovery, and workout activities across a diverse lending portfolio.

Qualifications

• Associates' degree in accounting, finance, economics or related field; substitution: two years of related experience may be considered.
• Four (4) years of experience in the financial services industry.
• Four (4) years of experience in collections or customer service.
• Experience with Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, VA, USDA, and SBA loan programs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage collection and recovery efforts for delinquent and charged-off loan accounts.
• Contact customers to discuss payment obligations and negotiate repayment arrangements.
• Assist with loan workouts, settlements, bankruptcies, repossessions, foreclosures, and recovery activities.
• Collaborate with AVP of Mortgage Processing & Special Assets and external agencies to support collections.
