Job summary

Stanley 1913 is hiring a Senior Collections Analyst in Seattle, WA. You will lead a high-volume accounts receivable portfolio, drive cash flow optimization, and partner with Finance, Sales, Customer Service, and Logistics to ensure accurate, timely processing of transactions and reporting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in collections/receivables; senior/advanced experience with complex accounts preferred.
• Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivots, formulas) and SAP/Oracle or similar ERP.
• Experience with collections or billing platforms; automation tools a plus.
• Ability to analyze large data sets, identify trends, assess risk, and derive actionable insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable negotiating with internal/external stakeholders.
• Investigating root causes, resolving disputes, and navigating complex billing scenarios.
• Cross-functional partnering with Finance, Sales, and Customer Service teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and urgency.
• Build positive relationships while driving payment accountability.
• Drive continuous improvement, workflow optimization, and system efficiency.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in finance/accounting preferable.

Responsibilities

• Run a high-volume accounts portfolio focusing on reducing aging and improving DSO.
• Analyze customer payment behaviors; identify delinquency trends and root causes; recommend actions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing issues and credit disputes.
• Review daily sales orders; monitor releases to mitigate risk while supporting order flow.
• Create and maintain aging reports, forecasts, and collections metrics for leadership.
• Lead outreach to past-due customers; negotiate payment plans and settlements.
• Assess credit risk on new and existing accounts within portfolio.
• Identify high-risk accounts and coordinate with Credit to manage exposure.
• Lead initiatives to improve collections processes through automation and better communications.
• Build strong relationships with internal/external customers.
• Support close activities related to receivables (monthly/quarterly/year-end).
• Contribute to team knowledge sharing and guidelines.
