Job summary

STG Logistics is seeking a Senior Collections Analyst to manage a $15M+ accounts receivable portfolio, focusing on timely collections and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. The role emphasizes accurate reconciliation, disputes, and data visibility across systems.

You will mentor new hires and drive process improvements to optimize cash flow. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in collections, preferably in logistics, with experience in Oracle Fusion and online payments.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business or accounting, or equivalent related work or military experience.
Minimum of 5 years of collections experience with at least 2 years in the logistics industry preferred.
Experience with Oracle Fusion, Get Paid, etc.
Experience with online banking, lockbox and customer payments.

Responsibilities

Build key relationships with customers, sales, operations and leadership.
Maintain daily communication with customers regarding payment status.
Act as trusted partner to stakeholders and escalate challenges for collaboration.
Research trends to improve customer payment performance and portfolio results.
Own portfolio with details unique to each customer and drive collection actions.
Identify opportunities for process improvements within the portfolio.
Resolve disputes with customers across organization boundaries.
Utilize collection software and Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) to achieve goals.
Prepare credit memos, refund requests and write-offs for approval.
Develop and monitor action plans to meet monthly goals.
Mentor and train new employees and support ad-hoc projects.
