Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Collections specialist to manage the collection of outstanding accounts receivable, research disputes, and develop payment plans with customers. You will work closely with the Service Leader for designated accounts and report open balances.

This role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration within the organization, strong communication, and a customer-focused approach to resolve issues while maintaining relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 2-4 years of experience, preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication with customers and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the collection of outstanding accounts receivable, including dispute research, developing payment plans with customers, and building trusted relationships with customers and internal business partners.
• Work directly with Service Leader for designated accounts for a single point of contact approach.
• Responsible for preparing and reporting open accounts receivable balances for assigned accounts
• Work cross-functionally with all levels within the organization both internally and externally.
• Facilitate meetings and presentations, communicating effectively with stakeholders and engaging participants.
• Support customer needs by maintaining a customer-focused approach and identifying root causes of issues.
