Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Collections professional to manage the timely collection of outstanding accounts receivable across designated accounts. You will research disputes, develop payment plans, and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal partners.

This role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, clear communication, and reporting open balances. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree and 2-4 years of experience, plus proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
• 2-4 years of experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with customers and stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the collection of outstanding accounts receivable, including dispute research, developing payment plans with customers, and building trusted relationships with customers and internal business partners.
• Work directly with Service Leader for designated accounts for a single point of contact approach.
• Responsible for preparing and reporting open accounts receivable balances for assigned accounts.
• Work cross-functionally with all levels within the organization both internally and externally.
• Facilitate meetings and presentations, communicating effectively with stakeholders and engaging participants.
• Support customer needs by maintaining a customer-focused approach and identifying root causes of issues.
