Job summary

Global Payments Inc. is seeking a Collections Advisor (B2B) to join our Finance Shared Services team and help move past-due accounts toward resolution.

In this role you will contact customers by phone and email, monitor balances, answer billing questions, and document activities in our systems while collaborating with teammates to meet targets. The position offers hourly pay with a monthly incentive and opportunities to earn more based on results.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Business-to-business (B2B) experience desired.
• Technical skills including Microsoft Office and Salesforce; Billing/Collections software preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication; professional and persuasive.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; solid organizational skills.
• Diligent with accurate record keeping and data entry.

• Keep an eye on outstanding balances and proactively help customers bring their accounts up to date.
• Assist customers with billing and settlement questions, providing a positive experience and timely resolution.

• Partner with teammates and support other accounting-related activities when needed.
• Take ownership of your workday by managing priorities, balancing multiple tasks, and contributing to the success of the team.
• Maintain accurate customer records and ensure information stays current and organized.
• Process customer payments accurately and efficiently.
• Record payment activity and account updates in the appropriate systems and reports.
• Jump in on additional projects and responsibilities as needed.
