Job summary

Uprite Construction in Irvine, CA seeks an experienced Project Director to provide leadership across complex commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will oversee Project Managers, Senior Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Superintendents while guiding ground-up cold storage and temperature-controlled facilities.

The role requires strong client relationships, budgeting and scheduling oversight, and the ability to manage multiple teams and large-scale

Qualifications

• This role requires 10+ years of progressive commercial construction experience.
• Experience working directly for a commercial general contractor is required.
• Significant cold storage or temperature controlled construction experience is required.
• Strong ability to lead large/complex projects and teams from preconstruction through closeout.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership for complex commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Oversee Project Managers, Senior Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Superintendents.
• Lead ground up cold storage, temperature controlled, food and beverage, industrial, and related projects.
• Partner with Preconstruction on estimating, constructability, budgeting, procurement strategy, scheduling, and subcontractor selection.
• Maintain executive level relationships with clients, architects, consultants, subcontractors, and project partners.
