Job summary

NewCold is seeking a Site Construction Manager to lead design-build projects, from planning through turnover, for refrigerated warehouse facilities. You will coordinate contractors, suppliers, and design teams, ensuring safety, on-time delivery, and adherence to budget and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has 7–10 years in industrial construction management, with experience in refrigerated facilities and a strong grasp of OSHA requirements and project controls.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of construction management experience with industrial, warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or cold storage facilities.
• Experience with refrigerated warehouses, freezer facilities, food processing plants, or temperature-controlled logistics facilities a plus.
• Working knowledge of OSHA requirements, construction contracts, scheduling, cost control, and quality management.
• OSHA 30 Certification is a plus.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or similar project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Act as the on-site representative of NewCold throughout planning, construction, commissioning, and turnover.
• Protect NewCold’s interests by ensuring the project is delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to specified quality standards.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between NewCold, general contractor, design team, equipment suppliers, commissioning agents, and regulatory agencies.
• Provide regular project status reports to executive leadership and stakeholders.
• Monitor contractor performance and enforce contractual requirements.
• Site construction managers are on the project site full-time.
