Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking a Senior Coding Specialist- Acute Care to support daily operations, coordinate work, and ensure quality and regulatory compliance in acute care coding. The role requires 2 years of coding experience and CCS/CIC/CCA/RHIT/CPC/COC certifications, with health information management experience preferred.

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $34.92 - $50.83 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
