Job summary

Enphase Energy is seeking a senior codes and standards leader to own our regulatory position for the IQ SST platform. You will influence committees, panels, and working groups shaping medium‑voltage power and data center interconnect rules, translating complex standards into actionable guidance for product and engineering teams.

You’ll build a network across UL, IEEE, NFPA, ICC, and utilities, draft code change proposals, and drive industry consensus.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of codes/standards experience in power electronics, medium-voltage equipment, or data center power infrastructure.
• 5+ years of direct committee work on standards panels or working groups.
• Active network across UL, IEEE, NFPA, ICC, testing labs (NRTLs), utilities, and AHJs.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive Enphase's codes and standards strategy for the IQ SST platform, aligned with product roadmap and timelines.
• Represent Enphase on standards committees and panels, securing seats and leadership roles.
• Lead creation of new standards projects or task groups where gaps exist and drive industry consensus.
• Engage data center bodies (OCP, NFPA fire requirements, operator forums) to align DC power architectures with standards work.
• Draft code change proposals, comments, and ballot positions; build coalitions to drive adoption.
• Partner with utilities and interconnection to shape grid interface requirements for SST facilities.
• Shape certification paths with NRTLs to enable cost/time-to-market improvements.
• Monitor code cycles and brief executives on changes and implications.
• Support AHJ interpretation issues and provide training outreach.
