Responsibilities

• Assists co-workers; acts as Team Leader in complex cases involving minimum housing, zoning, and noise readings.
• Receives, investigates, and validates complex complaints about County ordinances and regulations.
• Serves as liaison between County divisions and contractors, citizens, and businesses; responds to inquiries.
• Provides direction to investigative staff on rules, hearings, and fines imposition.
• Schedules and oversees pre-hearing meetings for hearings; reviews testimony and documents.
• Performs on-site inspections for environmental and code-related issues; captures evidence and photographs.
• Maintains data in the system and prepares hearing minutes and records.
• Ensures public relations and educates stakeholders on code issues and regulations.

Education
