Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Seven years of full-time experience in plan review or project administration.
• Current NYS Code Enforcement Officer certification.
• Valid NYS driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Oversee enforcement of building codes and zoning regulations through inspections and plan reviews.
• Review plans for SUCF and DASNY administered projects and issue permits for compliance.
• Maintain records of inspections and enforcement actions and prepare reports.
• Lead and mentor the Code Compliance Manager; collaborate with university safety officials.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support campus development and safety.
