Job summary

Iridium Satellite LLC seeks a Senior Project Controls Analyst and Cobra Specialist to manage complex controls activities, integrate data across Cobra and MS Project, and deliver earned value insights. You will guide CAMs, perform EV analyses, and drive improvements in program controls across projects.

The role emphasizes COBRA expertise, strong communication, and proactive problem-solving within a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related discipline from an accredited college/university.
• 8+ years of professional experience in program controls, business management, or related fields.
• Advanced knowledge of Deltek Cobra and strong EVM understanding.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Cobra SME and primary resource for Cobra processes across the program.
• Manage monthly integration between Microsoft Project and Cobra and resolve data mapping issues.
• Provide guidance to CAMs and Schedulers on Cobra usage, EV metrics, and ETC analysis.
• Lead Budget Change Requests (BCRs), baseline revisions, and ECPs within the controls system.
• Prepare and validate IPMR/IPMDAR reporting and drive corrective actions.
• Audit project controls data to identify anomalies and compliance risks (EIA-748, DCMA).
• Lead EAC/VAC analysis and provide projections and risk recommendations to leadership.
• Coach junior controls staff and promote consistency in EVM practice.
