Job summary

Banda Group International is seeking a senior Project Controls professional to support EVMS and project controls systems at Los Alamos, NM. The role requires leadership in cost engineering, scheduling, and analysis with substantial independence.

You will develop integrated schedules with Primavera P6, perform cost analysis, and report using Deltek Cobra in a restricted environment. A Bachelor's degree, 8+ years of experience, and DOE Q clearance (or ability to obtain) are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years related experience
• Advanced experience in planning, scheduling, cost engineering, cost estimating, cost control, and cost analysis
• Primavera P6 experience including schedule development, maintenance, monitoring, and analysis
• EVMS tools, processes, and performance measurement
• Deltek Cobra administration and backend in restricted/red-network environments
• Engineering and construction management practices
• Multiple project controls software and standard business software
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• On-site full-time in Los Alamos, NM on a 4/10 schedule
• DOE Q clearance or ability to obtain

Responsibilities

• Support implementation and maintenance of the EVMS and Project Controls System.
• Perform cost estimating, cost analysis, cost control, forecasting, and related project controls activities.
• Develop, maintain, monitor, and analyze integrated project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Evaluate project performance, identify cost and schedule trends, and communicate issues requiring management attention.
• Perform schedule development, status updates, progress monitoring, variance analysis, and corrective-action support.
• Provide technical direction and supervision for cost engineering and planning/scheduling activities.
• Ensure assigned project controls work is completed accurately and on schedule.
• Coordinate with project management, engineering, construction, and other stakeholders.
• Develop solutions to complex project controls issues using independent judgement and analysis.
• Coordinate activities of other personnel and contribute to improvements of controls methods.
• Work with Deltek Cobra for EVMS/cost processing and reporting in a restricted red-network environment.
