United Global Technologies, Inc. seeks a Senior COBOL Developer for a 12-month W-2 contract. Hybrid role with strong onsite training preference and CJIS certification requirement; SC residency may be needed. Fingerprinting in SC prior to start.

The Senior Programmer/Team Lead will analyze tickets, lead solutions, translate business specs to technical specs, code, test, and provide production support while reporting to the development manager. Extension possible.

Formación

6+ years with Visual and/or Micro Focus COBOL.
Working knowledge of Visual Cobol V9.
10+ years in Windows-based client-server applications.
5+ years leading a technical software development team.
10+ years coding COBOL in Oracle SQL environment.
5+ years Level 3 production support.
5+ years primary contact with business units for specs delivery.
10+ years in system analysis, design, coding, testing, and implementation.

Responsabilidades

Analyze the core business system and tickets for development and/or modification.
Lead analysis and propose solutions to tickets and projects.
Collaborate with business units to develop business specs and obtain sign-off.
Code, test, promote, and ensure solutions meet documented specifications and interact with users.
Provide production support for the system.
Provide daily and weekly status updates to the development manager and business analysts.
