Job summary

Innosoft Corp. seeks a Senior Programmer/Team Lead to maintain, support, and develop core DMV systems. The role focuses on COBOL backend with .NET frontend, leading a COBOL team, and collaborating with business units to translate requirements into technical specs.

The position requires CJIS information security certification (sponsored), strong communication, and the ability to work independently. Candidates must relocate to SC and be willing to fingerprint; online interviews are planned.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience with Visual and/or Micro Focus COBOL.
• Experience with Windows-based client-server environments.
• Experience leading a technical software development team.

Responsibilities

• Analyze the Phoenix core business system and tickets for development/modifications.
• Lead analysis and development of proposed solutions for tickets and projects.
• Collaborate with business units to translate specifications into technical specs and obtain sign-off.
• Code, test, promote, and collaborate with users to ensure requirements are met.
• Provide production support for the Phoenix system.
• Provide daily/weekly status updates to the Development Manager and Business Analysts.
