Job summary

TALENT Software Services is seeking a Developer III to join the Core Commercial Systems group supporting critical healthcare claims processing applications.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field with 4+ years of experience in application development, testing, or related work. Partial onsite work is expected with on-call rotation after onboarding and occasional overtime for production needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• Degree equivalency: 4 years of relevant work experience or 2 years plus an associate's degree.
• Minimum 4 years of application development, systems testing or related experience.
• Experience with COBOL, JCL, DB2 and CICS is required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements, design and implement COBOL-based solutions.
• Modify COBOL programs, JCL processes, DB2 queries and CICS transactions.
• Support production issues and ongoing healthcare claims processing initiatives.
• Participate in rotating on-call schedule after onboarding; occasional overtime may be required.
