Job summary

TALENT Software Services is seeking an IS - Developer III to join the Core Commercial Systems team, supporting critical healthcare claims processing applications. You will design, modify COBOL programs, JCL processes, DB2 queries, and CICS transactions to implement new functionality and resolve production issues.

Minimum requirements include a Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field, 4 years of applicable experience, and willingness to participate in a rotating on-call schedule.

Qualifications

IS - Developer III **CREDIT CHECK REQUIRED / NO SUBCONTRACTORS**

Minimum Required Education: Bachelor's degree-in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job-related degree. Degree Equivalency: 4 years of job related work experience or 2 years of job related experience plus an associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job-related degree Minimum Required Work Experience: 4 years-of application development, systems testing or other job-related experience. Partial Onsite - Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday onsite and as needed. Interviews - In person - scheduled as soon as possible Team Name: Core Commercial Systems, which supports mission-critical healthcare claims processing applications and related business functions. Standard Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Eastern Time, Monday-Friday (40 hours/week) Will any of the following be required: overtime, travel, on call, weekends, off hours: Participation in a rotating on-call schedule is required after completion of the onboarding period. The rotation consists of approximately one week of coverage every 8-12 weeks. Developers serving as the primary on-call resource are supported by experienced application subject matter experts who also participate in the rotation, ensuring access to system expertise when troubleshooting complex issues. Occasional overtime, evening, or weekend work may be required to support production issues, implementations, or business needs.
