Job summary

CPS Inc. in Fremont, IN is seeking a Coatings Product Manager to lead the full lifecycle of high‑performance coatings products. You will partner with R&D, Sales, Manufacturing, Purchasing & Shipping, Quality, and Marketing to ensure customer needs and profitability targets are met from launch through growth and end‑of‑life.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in product lifecycle management within coatings or specialty chemicals and strong skills in pricing, analytics, and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience managing product life cycles, preferably in coatings or specialty chemicals.
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Business, or a similar field.
• Experience with P&L and pricing strategy.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Research, develop, plan, and execute product roadmap and lifecycle strategy.
• Manage day‑to‑day product life cycle processes to meet goals.
• Analyze market, distributor, customer, and competitive landscapes for growth.
• Lead pricing strategies to deliver margins and volumes.
• Collaborate with Sales to align purchasing plans with customer needs.
• Lead cross‑functional teams on new product launches and branding.
