Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science, or related field.
• 10–15 years in coatings development with progressive leadership experience.
• Strong track record translating technical strategy into business results.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a multi-year technology and innovation strategy aligned with growth.
• Unify Lab, R&D, QC, QA, Color into a cohesive division with clear accountability.
• Own the technology budget, headcount planning, and capital equipment investments.
• Lead color matching, ensure color standardization, and drive color technology investments.
• Oversee QC/QA, ensure compliance with ASTM, ISO, EPA, OSHA, and VOC rules.
• Recruit, develop, and retain department heads, mentoring a broad technical leadership bench.
