Job summary

Otsuka America Pharmaceutical, Inc. is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) for CNS to support local medical strategies and engage key influencers in the ecosystem.

The role emphasizes clinical and economic data dissemination to improve patient outcomes in collaboration with regional stakeholders. The MSL will cover multiple products in the CNS area, provide training for speakers, and assist in clinical trials while traveling up to 70% of the time.

Qualifications

• MD/DO, PharmD or PhD in life sciences required.
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience in pharmaceutical industry Medical Affairs; CNS preferred.
• Strong business acumen; understands the industry and value proposition.
• Excellent communication and collaboration; cross-functional environment.
• Ability to lead teams and manage projects strategically.
• Ability to summarize complex information for concise presentations.
• Solid understanding of industry legal, regulatory and compliance landscape.
• Comfort working in an ambiguous environment undergoing transformation.
• Demonstrates behaviors aligned with corporate brand values.
• Willingness to travel up to 70% depending on territory size.

Responsibilities

• Contribute a clinical and scientific perspective to local execution plans and field activities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with scientific and medical customers and organizations.
