Job summary

Otsuka America Pharmaceutical, Inc. is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) for the CNS portfolio.

This field-based role engages with Key Influencers, Local Practice Leaders, and healthcare providers to advance patient outcomes within an ecosystem framework and to deliver clinical and economic insights. The MSL will collaborate with ecosystem partners to customize regional medical strategies, provide evidence-based information, and support trials and educational activities while traveling up

Qualifications

• MD/DO, PharmD or PhD in life sciences required.
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience in pharmaceutical industry Medical Affairs.
• Previous training or experience in CNS disease is preferred.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong business acumen; understands industry, value proposition, and market dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Contribute a clinical and scientific perspective to local execution plans and field activities.
• Build and leverage external relationships with key scientific and medical customers and organizations within the territory.
• Develop a deep understanding of the ecosystem to align with patient-centric strategy and priorities.
• Provide evidence-based information on clinical, economic, and humanistic value of products.
• Mentor peers, support trials, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to improve patient outcomes.
