Job summary

MTI Motion is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to operate and set up 3- and 4-axis CNC turning machines with Fanuc controls in a job-shop setting. You will perform changeovers, first piece inspections, and document results while maintaining quality and efficiency.

Applicants should have 3–5 years of experience, a solid understanding of GD&T and shop math, and the ability to read drawings and use metrology tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; CNC degree or journeyman machinist preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience setting up and operating 3- and 4-axis CNC turning machines.
• Knowledge of GD&T and shop math; ability to read drawings and perform precise measurements.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate 3- and 4-axis CNC turning machines (Haas, Mori Seiki, Hwacheon) using Fanuc controls.
• Perform changeovers, first piece inspections, and offsets edits to ensure quality and productivity.
• Record labor/production data and assist with training other operators as needed.
