Job summary

Morris Group, Inc. is seeking a CNC Swiss Engineering Lead to act as a technical leader for Swiss-style machining applications.

The role involves developing innovative machining solutions, leading turnkey projects, guiding customers and internal teams, and providing expert programming and process optimization. The position requires extensive CNC programming knowledge, tooling, and capability assessment, with travel to customer sites for demonstrations, training, and support.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in Sliding Headstock (Swiss) CNC machine tool engineering, programming, applications, and/or manufacturing.
• Demonstrated expertise in CNC Swiss machining processes, tooling, work holding, and process optimization.
• Advanced knowledge of CNC programming and Fanuc-based controls; 5-axis machining experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical leader and expert for CNC Swiss machining applications across teams and customers.
• Lead complex turnkey projects and demonstrations, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Conduct pre-sale activities and technical reviews including customer visits, evaluations, and turnkey proposals.
